Become a Certified Yoga Instructor

Our 200 Hour Teacher Certification Program is for students who wish to teach Yoga or for dedicated students who wish to deepen their practice and understanding of Yoga. The program consists of 8 weekends (Friday night, Saturday & Sunday). The course spans eight months from March 2024 to October 2024.

Through the study of alignment-based Yoga you will:

  • develop the skills necessary to safely guide students through the physical practice of asanas.
  • gain technical knowledge of anatomy, actions, the art of adjustments and the use of props.
  • learn communication skills that are compassionate and expressive of your own unique voice.
  • discover a holistic approach to health through the study of the mind-body-spirit connection.

Through the study of Yoga philosophy you will:

  • develop a skillful and systematic technique for teaching pranayama (breath work).
  • gain the ability to confidently teach meditation, visualization, imagery, chanting and more.
  • learn the teachings of the Yoga Sutras, the ethics of living a conscious life, and how to apply it in your classes and in your life.
  • discover your inner light of awareness, your true nature, by stabilizing the body, refining the breath and connecting to the heart.

Why Advanced Yoga Studies?

  • The essential purpose of yoga is the integration of all layers of life – Physical, Emotional, Psychological, and Spiritual.
  • This program is designed to raise your level of physical vitality, clear emotional blockages, bring a new joy and enthusiasm for life.
  • When you start living a consciousness based life, you invite harmony, happiness and abundance into your life.
  • Yoga is experiential, you don’t have to follow a set of principles with blind faith. As you practice, you see and feel the positive changes from direct experience. That gives you hope and then you want more.
  • Yogis know that their mind and body are in the ever changing world, but the soul resides in a dimension that is beyond change.
  • The yogic path leads you to discover that aspect of your being that can never be lost, the unchanging soul, the divine spark, your inner light, the Self.
